weight gain ??

Anyone else gaining to much to quick? I am 5'5' and weighed 176 before pregnancy, I'm 24 weeks pregnant with my little girl and already at 201... 25 pounds in 24 weeks?? Is this to much??? Keep in mind this is my first pregnancy, someone's advice? Please no rude comments..

I was 5'6 and weighed 145lbs before I got pregnant. Well now I'm 21 weeks and I've only gained 5lbs since finding out I was pregnant and they tell me It's okay. I'm not sure how much is healthy to gain or lose during pregnancy. Every woman is different.

My doc just yelled at me and told me I have to start working out more I'm 5'8 and already gained 35 pounds at 29 weeks so I feel you on the gaining like crazy thing. I don't even eat bad so it's like WHAT DO YOU MEAN I GAINED 35 POUNDS ALL I EAT IS FUCKIN SALAD 🤔

For your BMI they say you're only supposed to gain 15-25 pounds your whole pregnancy. I am the same height/almost the same weight as you pre pregnancy but I've had a really small appetite almost my whole pregnancy. I'm 35 weeks now and have gained 14 lbs. I would talk to your doctor about it, if they're not concerned you shouldn't be, but the concern with too much weight gain in pregnancy is gestational diabetes. But if you're making (mostly) healthy choices and trying to stay a little active (even walking 30 min a day) sometimes you have no control of the weight gain.

You're gaining way too much, especially because you were already overweight before pregnancy. I'm 32 weeks and I've gained 10 pounds. You have to control your appetite. It's not healthy for you nor the baby to gain so much. What does your OB say? And Hun, it doesn't matter if it's your first or fifth pregnancy.

I'm 5'5 and currently 34 weeks. I've put on 40 lbs! Btw, I started out as 125lbs. Everyone is different with how they put on weight. Do your best to eat healthy and take care of yourself, that's all you can do.  Remember it's not a race to lose the weight after the baby comes.  It takes the better part of a year to put all this weight on, so expect it to take just as long to get rid of it.

I just learned today I've gained 35 lbs! Currently 31 weeks! I'm hoping with a little exercise and healthier eating I can keep it at that and not gain anymore! 😔

I just googled this today, as I am 24 weeks and have put on 11 pounds and was wondering the same thing. Hope it helps.
