How long after giving birth did you get your period?

It's been 6 weeks and 5 days since I gave birth; I stopped bleeding at about 3 weeks; i e been having major cramps and I just noticed some light brown bleeding started in my undies.. can this be my period starting ?

Over 3 months and only because I went on the pill.

My friends baby is 5m old no period with her first kid it took her 18m to get it back. She is also and EBF Mom.

I didn't get mine until 13 months post birth, but I was exclusively breastfeeding and that can make a difference. It was really irregular for at least another year.

Everyone is different. I got mine about 6 weeks after my first baby and didn't get my period for 6 months with my second baby because I breastfed her more often and for much longer.
