Pets in bed

We have a 45 pound dog who used to always sleep in our bed. She stopped about a week before the baby was born because we got a new bed that is taller and harder for her to get into. Now the baby has been home for a week and a half, and I'm starting to feel bad for our dog. I can tell she wants to come up into the bed, but she doesn't because she is so careful around the baby. Our LO sleeps in a bassinet next to the bed, but will cosleep when she is big enough. Should I let the dog back in the bed, or wait until LO is bigger? I also lay her in the bed during the day to sleep, and to change her diaper. I'm worried about germs in the bed where my baby lays her head.
