Periods, tampons and cramps, oh my..

Just thought I'd ask here, since having your baby have you noticed that your periods suck more than they used to? I had a C-section, but using a tampon now seems to be uncomfortable, almost painful.

Also, never had issues with cramps for the almost 20 years (holy shit do I feel old!) of periods before baby, but now I almost feel like they're intense and my internal scar is going to somehow rip open.

Could they just come up with a way for us to not have to have periods, and instead just grow a uterus, similar to a placenta, whenever necessary? <---- Kidding!

Periods suck.
