Child birth is my biggest nightmare

Girls i admit it, I'm scared of getting pregnant because of the stories i hear about what happens during child birth, I'm 25 and married and one of the reasons I'm scared shitless is because of my pain phobia. is there anything anyone can say about it from personal experience to make me feel better? Or is it just as painful as everyone described it? And i also heard about episiotomy and wow!! Has anyone gone through that too?
