fever blister embarrassment 😩

I'm going back home from my parents and I'm going to see the guy I've been having a relationship with. We're not exactly bf and gf but pretty much. I just recently got a fever blister and I have no idea what to tell him, I can't even kiss him. I'm nervous to tell him because I don't want him to gross out or something.
