Do you have a sweet, responsible man?

I'm constantly reading about men who won't do shit for their lady or even for themselves around the house! It only hit me recently after the 100th post I've read like that that I must be taking my boyfriend for granted. We usually split chores (I cook, he washes dishes, etc) but sometimes he comes home to completely take care of everything. He'll cook for me. Clean up around the house for me. And then come over to give me a foot massage. Sometimes it's because I'm having a bad day and sometimes it's just to "take care of me". I feel so blessed to have him around!

Ladies I want to hear you brag about your man! I'm sick of only seeing negativity.

I knew I had a great man - But since having our baby he has been even more amazing. I feel bad sometimes how much he takes upon his own shoulders and remind him that I'm home all day with baby and he doesn't need to worry about certain things. But he always responds with something along the lines "exactly, you are with baby all the time and barely getting any sleep - you are exhausted and there are certain things baby won't let you do because she wants to be held or fed or changed. You always make sure baby is taken care of and so it's my job to make sure you are taken care of". He works 12 hour days and yet still tries to plan what we are having for dinner and pull something out of the freezer in the morning so I don't have to put thought in and can just make it, he walks the dog after getting home from work, takes baby for two hours in the evening so I can take a nap if baby and I had a bad day, never hesitates to change her diaper when he's home, does all the out of the house errands on his way home from work until I'm comfortable enough to starting heading out into the world with the little one. He's been so great, I couldn't ask for better. ❤

My husband is amazing and totally looks after me. I get breakfast in bed every Sunday and whilst I chill out he'll potter about the house doing chores.

I have a joint condition that sometimes means it's difficult and painful for me to walk/move about/dress myself. And on those days he'll bring me pain killers, a hot water bottle and help me change into my PJ's.

I love him so much for taking such good care of me and not once had he ever made me feel that I'm should be embarrassed that at 30 I sometimes need help putting on my own socks

But there is stuff I can do to balance things out. I do the laundry, meal planning, cooking, and finances.

We joke that my job is to make the mess and his is to clean it up lol

We share duties too. I also appreciate all the running around he does driving the kids to school, driving them to after school stuff with their friends, running out to get onions while I cook dinner because I forgot, etc. His sons from a previous relationship are with us half the time and he does a great job taking care of them and I don't feel like he pushes them off on me.

He also has never put his friends or video games over me.....I've read many posts about this topic.

And he makes me feel good about myself. Never calls me out of my name or put me down even though we've gotten into some heated battles.

Yes I'm truly thankful for him.

I gotta say I got a good one. He drives me up a wall sometimes, but he is super hard working so I can stay home, and he is still a great daddy and husband when he's home. I do try and make sure that the house is kept up and his belly is full, but he always comes home and lends a hand around the house.

Last year me and my SO broke up, then I found out I was pregnant and then I found out it was ectopic and I needed emergency surgery. He traveled 5hrs via public transportation to get to the hospital to be with me. He did everything for me post-surgery. It really brought us together.

He's always cleaned, cooked, helped with the kids. With this pregnancy he's more excited than I am many days lol and understands when I'm too tired to do something. I'm really appreciate having him around.

Yessss to this post!!!! I'm so happy to see a positive story about a good man for a change LOL! My husband is the same way... He cooks, cleans, does laundry and pampers the hell out of me! I always get a kick outta watching him fold the laundry because he even takes extra care to fold my itty bitty thong undies into a cute little pile! It goes both ways though. I always take the time to do little things that remind him how grateful I am for him, and he does the same for me. I literally have no complaints... He treats me like a queen and is a good man thru and thru! He's from Argentina, so he's even a better baker than I am, and I get spoiled with all kinds of dulce de leche filled exotic treats regularly! One time I told him that my fav treat was black and white cookies (a delicious cake-like cookie I discovered while living in NYC) but that I always only eat half because I don't like the chocolate side. He had no idea what a black and white cookie even was, but looked up a traditional recipe and surprised me with a whole plate of them made entirely out of vanilla so I could eat the whole thing for once (sorry, I've just never liked chocolate)! It's little gestures like this that mean the world to me and remind me how lucky I am! He's a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, so he's always joking with me to never tell anyone how "domesticated" he is, so I just kiss him and tell him his secret is safe with me! :-) LOVE this post!! Can't wait to read other's stories as well cuz I'm all about giving praise to the great men in our lives!!

We don't live together, but he's pretty good at keeping his house tidy (partly bc he doesn't have that much stuff lol).

My husband is amazing. You know these memes that insinuate mom's don't get a sick day? When I'm sick, my husband makes sure I'm comfortable in bed and everything is taken care off. The house, the 3 kids....everything. He cooks dinner every night because he gets home before me and this last week and a half I've been in excruciating pain from a broken tooth and he has made sure I haven't had to do anything at all except lay in bed and help ease my pain. He cried with me, he went out at 1am to get me medicine, he stayed up with me when I was in pain. He still opens the car door for me, he never raises his voice to me or disrespects me. He is absolutely the perfect man ❤

Yay for positive talk!

My boyfriend is by far the most respectful man I've ever met. I have some issues with torn tissue in my hip, every evening after work he will help me stretch and rub it for me. He helps me cook quite frequently, even if it's just cutting up veggies or something. We have a system that works for us, it's great. We have turned our garage into a "clubhouse"(his words, not mine) he cleans the garage and I clean the house. We both do laundry and split bills. I've never had the opportunity to be with someone that respects me and our relationship so much.

My fianće is amazing to me. He'll go out of this way to make sure that we are taken care of. Around this time last year, I was working on a marketing plan for class & I ended up having horrible heartburn. He took me to the er & took off work the next day to make sure I was good. That was just one moment. Another small moment was a couple of weeks ago. He went through and organized my shelf of perfumes & body sprays I hadn't had the chance to do it myself. I could go on & on about how good he's been to me. I could write a book.
