no baby in ultrasound?

So I had my first ultrasound today. I'm supposed to be 7 weeks today. Well all they can see is the sac. It's measuring 7 weeks but they didn't see a baby. So they took some blood and I go back next week for another ultrasound. But is this normal to not see a baby?

I thought I was 6 weeks and had a scan, both abdominal and vaginal. Only saw a gestational sac and yolk sac, no fetal pole. Was told to come back in 2 weeks because I might not be a far along as they thought. Went back Saturday when I would be 8 weeks. There was baby and heartbeat. Baby was measuring at 7 weeks so I was a full week behind. You might not be as far along as you think. Try again in a couple of weeks.

I was 6 weeks when i had my us only sac showed measured 4 weeks im not worried i saw a website that calculates your due date and when i entered mine it says that the baby should measue 4 weeks my dr told me to come back in 2 weeks

I think so. When I was 7 weeks (a couple weeks ago) my doctor couldn't find the baby for quite some time. After a good 10-15 mins of searching she found him/her but not even well enough to tell how far along I was. I then went to the hospital where they had a better ultrasound machine and they had no problem. Doctor said it was likely because at the time my uterus was tilted and it made it harder to see.

Does it say on your notes the height, length and width of your gest sac? Let me know and I can work out your actual gestational sac age.

I'm 6w4d. I went a week ago and again today and they only saw the sac both times. No fetal pole. My blood test last week showed I was really early. I've got to call back in the morning to find out results of my blood test from today. I've started having some bleeding. I'm so scared. I can't wait to find out the results. Hoping everything is ok.

If you are measuring 7 weeks, you should see a yolk sac and the baby. Not to alarm you, but the gestational sac is telling you how far you are... in gunna hope for some type of fluke and hope for the best 💕

Krystal do not panic in my scan I was not able to see anything except gest sac I was 6 weeks at that time.. I hope it's normal am going fr check up next week.. so wait patiently.. baby is doing fine for us👍👍
