Uhg. Boyfriend problems

My boyfriend isn't very sensitive to the things I want in my future or for my future kids. Most of the time if I keep talking about it he tells me I can go do it or have that but he isn't willing to join me. He thinks I'm a rich kid and that I have no idea what poor is like. I honestly haven't every been in a rough situation yet in my life either were my parents(his were ) but if I explain that if we had the money to afford suck things why not do it? But he protests and only wants low income things... please help me understand why he's so die hard on this. I don't want to lose him and I'm also to much of pussy to leave him.
