How long does milk stay inside you lol?

so im 36 weeks pregnant.. i want to breastfed my child until she is 1 year old or less if anything.... How long does milk stay in the boob for ? when the child is couple months?

Your breast milk will be a supply demand thing, as long as you are breastfeeding or pumping you keep producing milk

Milk will come in as long as the child is drinking it. It only goes away when you stop it. My mom stopped hers with bay leaves because she formula fed me.

The more you breastfeed the longer the milk will stay there. I stopped breastfeeding at 6 months. At first it hurts to stop because you become ingorged ( spelled that wrong I think) but then it slowly stops producing. But someone woman just can't produce enough. Really just depend on your body
