‼️⁉️BABY SHOWER⁉️‼️

So I'm currently pregnant with my first baby and when I broke the news to my boyfriends family his brother said "Well mom can't go to your baby shower because I don't want there to be any hard feelings" just because his mom didn't go to his baby mothers shower because at the time their families were having differences. Honestly I don't know if I'm overreacting but I just don't think it's fair to me at all or my boyfriend. Just because my SIL will get jealous my MIL can't be at mine and her youngest sons baby shower. Ridiculous
