tell the truth or keep my opinion to myself?

So my boyfriend of 11 months is currently growing out his hair. Last August his hair was at his shoulders until he cut it to near his ears. He wants to grow it out again and although he looks great either way, I prefer him with short hair. He also wants ear piercings but I don't have the heart to tell him that he shouldn't get it. I want to be honest with him but I don't want to be that controlling girlfriend, you know? I don't want to stand in the way of something he really wants. What should I do?

You can be honest and not controlling. Tell him what u perfur then he can do what he wants. Even if it's not what u would have decided let it go. But deff be honest.

My bf's hair cut is not the way I want it to be, actually I kind of hate it lol, but I haven't said anything about it. I figure if he's happy with it then that's all that matters. Although, he does tell me what he likes and doesn't like about my hair. He tells me he wants it short and he doesn't like my hair now. And I take his opinion into concideration and I like knowing his opinion, but I was kind of offended as well. So if you're going to say something be as nice as possible about it.
