Period on birth control pills

So I'm in my last week of pills for this pack (it's day 4 now) and I'm just starting my period. It usually comes later in the week now that I'm on birth control, so that's normal for me. But should I still be getting super bad cramps like before I was on bc? I've been taking my bc pills pretty regularly (missed a few here or there) for 5 months now. Should my cramps still be this bad?
