just need to vent a little!
My sister and I have always been close but we always have felt like we were in competition because we're close in age.
And I know this is petty of me to feel like this but I just need to vent.
After over a year and a half of trying to conceive, hubby and I finally did it.
My sister typically gets upset when the attention is on me, so I'm pretty sure she cried to her boyfriend about it the night we told her, because the next day he decided
to propose. So the day after we announced our long awaited pregnancy, my sister announced her engagement.
While I'm happy about their next step, I feel it was inconsiderate of them to do this.
When I asked about it they just said "the moment felt right, it wasn't even planned".
So now instead of being able to soak up this happy feeling, I have to split it with my sister.
By the way, I'm venting on here because I don't want to take away her happiness by telling her the extent of my feelings.
