Birth control

Okay i went to go to get put on birth control after my firat baby i took it before i got pregnant when i was like 17 . I just got put on it 2 weeks ago and the nurse told me to start them when i am on my period . The day of my appt i was on my period and she told me to take one . I took one and have been taking them on the same time every day . Well since then ive been getting these horriable cramps and my fave is breaking out 10x worse . Has anyone else had these problems . What should i do ?
