New here..
Hello everyone. I just downloaded this app because my hubby and I are hoping to start ttc again in the next few weeks. Here's my story... July 2014, exactly one month after my wedding, I had my first ectopic pregnancy. I was rushed into emergency surgery because my abdomen was full of blood and I nearly lost my life. We were 8 weeks along but I had been testing for weeks prior and could not get a bfp on a hpt. So when I had a day and severe bleeding at around 4 weeks I thought it was just a heavy period from coming off the pill, then when we finally got a bfp we thought it was implantation bleeding. So 4 weeks later when we did get a bfp we were over the moon! It was our first pregnancy. 3 days after the bfp is when our hearts were broken. With that surgery they saved my tube and they considered it to be an ovarian ep because it was in my tube at one point but that day of heavy bleeding caused it to start moving down and stuck on my left ovary on the way down. That hospital wasn't the greatest. Obviously. Fast forward to March of 2015. At only 4.5 weeks along I started spotting. My hcg levels dropped and my new and amazing obgyn diagnosed a natural miscarriage. 2 days later and my levels spiked and yet again, another ep pregnancy, another emergency surgery and lost my left tube (both ep's were on this side. I still have both ovaries.). Now almost 2 years later and we are ready to give it another shot. We had the hsg test in November and my remaining tube is open and clear. We are currently using shady Grove to help us. We don't have any problems getting pregnant, it just won't go to the right spot so we are gonna try one more time before moving on to ivf or adoption. Our options right now are A. Try naturally and have extremely close monitoring so that if we have a 3rd ep we hope to catch it early enough that I can get the shot instead of surgery again. And I would be tracking ovulation at home. Or B. Take fermara, trigger shot and close monitoring. Either way we are doing the close monitoring we just haven't decided yet if we want to use meds or not. Sorry this post is so long, I just wanted to let ya'll know my story and maybe you can give me some advice, insight, hope, success stories. Anything helps. We are so scared but are clinging onto the tiny shred of hope that we have left..
