Is this normal for a relationship?

Me and my fiance have been together 3 years this month and I'm wondering if we are the odd couple out.. For a start we used to always kiss and say 'I love you' and now we still do that but no where near as much, we barely even kiss goodnight and when we do kiss it doesn't usually involve tongues as I don't really like tongues unless we're both REALLY REALLY into it.

I even limit our sex amount because if not then his penis would be inside me permanently and in all honesty as much as I love our sex I don't want just sex 24/7.. I want cuddles and long chats about us and our future, I want us to be random and silly like we used to etc. He sometimes says that we're more like friends than a couple as we don't really hold hands either, I link my arm into his. (Btw we do cuddle and have those nice lovey moments also but sometimes I love having a few days away from sex)

Is this normal for a couple?

Sounds incredibly normal to me. Not saying  this applies to you but that's why it's important to have a good friendship with your SO because after all the raw passion you're just left with the person they are.

Like others have said, you're comfortable now. Although it seems like things have dulled down, doesn't mean there's nothing there anymore. My husband and I have been together 9+ years, and we sometimes hold hands out in public, just not every time. 
If he says you seem more like friends, then YOU BOTH need to put effort into your relationship and make sparks from time to time. Go out on dates, hold hands, lay your head on his shoulder, give him a kiss on the cheek. Sounds like middle school relationships, but you have to start somewhere. 😊

As your with someone for a long time you just get comfortable. My husband is my absolute best friend and I love him with all my heart. The sexual aspect of a relationship is not what defines you two as a couple!

Yep. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 years. At frist we'd text all day and night, have sex ALL the freaking time, do stuff together on our day off every week, we never went to bed without cuddling. Now we rarely have sex, we never text each other but we live together now, we don't do stuff like we use to, we don't even share a blanket in bed lol. We're just over the honeymoon phase, we're comfortable with each other. But I love him more than ever. Cause now he really is my best friend, I know he's really with me for me. And we still have our days where we spend all day together doing something, we still have our romantic moments. Things just change.
