Birth control for your period.

Hi, ladies! My periods have been getting worse and worse. My flow is getting super heavy, and I vomit almost non-stop. The cramps are unbearable. I talked to my mom about birth control, because obviously the pills aren't working and ever time I take some, more than likely, I'll throw them back up. I can't keep anything down while I'm on my period and nothing seems to work. I've done some research and asked many people ,who go through the same thing, what is was that they use/do. Birth control seemed like the best option for me at this point, but my mom told me that she didn't want me on it, unless I was sexually active. How do I ask my mom again or where can I get them? What kind/type is the best?
