What to expect after delivery?

Im 35 weeks. Trying to get an idea of what to expect ill feel like and also, ive been told its okay to wear normal clothes to go home in like jeans and a shirt. Or would you rather wear loose fitting comfy clothes?

You will want loose comfy clothing.  Yoga pants (preferably one with those fold down waists) and a loose top perhaps.  After pushing out a baby,  you are going to be sore down there no matter how quick it was or how high your pain tolerance. I had a pretty quick and easy delivery but I think I would have cried if I had to put on jeans.  If you end up with a C-section,  you will definitely want loose pants that do not hit your incision.  As for a top,  go with something loose because even though you no longer have your baby inside,  your uterus will still need time to shrink and go back to its original place.  I looked 5 months pregnant when I went home from the hospital.  Good luck!

The loosest, most comfortable clothes you own!!  With my first, I put on 20 lbs of water weight from IVs in the hospital, and I was wearing an adult diaper due to heavy postpartum bleeding and not wanting to wear one of those big ass hospital pads.  (Diapers are where it's at - trust me.) Not to mention your lady parts are going to be super tender - stitches or not - so you'll want to be wearing loose bottoms at the very least.  Or, if you have a c-section you'll have a tender incision to deal with.

I think I would've openly wept if I had to put on jeans. I didn't wear them for weeks afterward and I'm not a sweatpants kind of girl!

It ain't pretty. You just had a baby which is impressive enough.  Don't worry about looking cute.  Be comfortable. ☺️

I suggest lose fitting your not coming to want to be in tight clothing. With my son i did wear home yogo pants and a tshirt and i was ok with that.

Not everyone snaps right back to pre baby weight and some do. I personally bring a nice comfy but tasteful outfit to wear home.

I wore loose comfy clothing like sweat pants. I didn't care what I looked like I just wanted to be comfy
