how often do you wake your newborn up for his feeds?

I've been waking mine up every 3 hours what about everyone on here? I seem to be waiting a lot of milk when I do this .. I heard some Let their babies wake them up which makes them drink more ????

3 hours. Today he went 4 hours a few times. I never wake a sleeping baby to feed.

My almost 3 month old eats every 2. When the 2 hours are up he is ready to go lol. So theres need to wake him. He sleeps through night (about 10 hrs) and I DO NOT wake him to feed him. If he's gonna sleep through the whole night so am I! As long as they're weight is good then there's no need to wake them.

I let my 2 month old wake himself up when he is ready to feed. I don't wake him unless it is day time and he is sleeping 3+ hours. When he was less than one month I woke him every 2 hours.

During the night? Never once! Let that baby sleep! During the day? My only thing was to not let him sleep longer than 2-3 hours. But I didn't force him to eat if he wasn't hungry.

Never! As soon as she was back at her birth weight, I never once woke her just to feed...she has sufficient wet diapers, so I know she's hydrated. She will let me know if she's hungry!!!
