BD Issues. need advice.
I'm 18. Father of my child is 17. I work and I'm paying for everything I need for the baby. He's told me he's applied for jobs, but both his ex girlfriend and mom have told me that he didn't. He played football and told me that after the season, he would start working and pay for the crib I wanted for Christmas as a gift. I'm not mad about him not getting the crib- as it's being gifted to me by someone else. But what annoys me is that he refuses to work or take any initiative for our child but has constantly pestered me to name the child after him because he's "always wanted his first son to have his name." And I understand that comepletly but he's not being helpful or responsible at all. He acts like we'll have the same responsibilities as parents but like i said, he's doing doing nothing to help. His mom has purchased clothes. He's done not a thing. Why should I feel bad not naming my son after someone so immature? What would you guys do? I'm very frustrated. I barely even want to tell him when I have the baby because having him around me is so stressful.
