I cant feel baby move

I'm 18 +3 today and was freaking out because I hadn't felt so much as a flutter when yesterday my baby was very active. This is a high risk pregnancy already and I used my Doppler to try to find the heartbeat and couldn't find it. It was like this all day. A little while ago I finally found the heartbeat so I feel better but is it normal to go all day not feeling anything? She located in the front so I've been feeling her for awhile now.
