So Much Mommy-shaming
Not just on here either, but anywhere. Whether in the real world or on the internet, someone is going to judge another mom.
"You shouldn't let your kid do this"
"Your pediatrician told you solids at 4 months? You need a new one, he's behind on info" (even though every pediatrician within a 50 mile radius also does solids at 4 months)
"You stopped breastfeeding?! Why?? It's the healthiest option for your baby" yeah, well it's not exactly healthy when the baby wants 6+ ounces of milk every 3-4 hours and you barely produce 2. No matter what, I never produced more than that. I tried all the tricks to boost supply.
"I wouldn't bring my baby to work with me. Think of all those germs!" right? I know! But it was either bring him with me, or have no income. He's been going with me since he was 3 weeks old and guess what? He hasn't had so much as a fever. He'll be 6 months in 8 days.
The way I raise my child is nobody's business. The way you raise your child is nobody's business. As long as those kids aren't being hurt or put in any danger, leave other moms be. It's stressful enough without having to hear other moms telling us we're not doing it right.
