Too many braxton hicks?

Question

My OB said to call the on call OB if I have more than 6 braxton hicks in an hour. I have had 4 in about 40 min so I am a little concerned. Any advice?  I am timing them in case. I am about 30 weeks

To many is 8 with a hour. You're fine.

My Dr isn't concerned if there's no rhythm to them, even if there's a lot.

I get them regularly for periods of 30 minutes -2 hours. But they stop and my cervix is not dilating so my Dr says just pay attention to them. She isn't too worried. I'm 31 weeks now but had my first bout of them at 24 weeks.

I have 10-12 an hour for hours daily..... everyone is different.... its my normal for both pregnancies......     but just listen to your OB....   they will monitor them.
