Uncomfortable trying on clothes.

I know this may seem strange and I'm embarrassed to admit it but I feel very uncomfortable trying to find new clothes. I have a disproportionate build. I feel like everything I try on looks awkward and unflattering on me. If the clothes fit one part it looks bad in another part. Most days if I'm not going out much I wear my husbands clothes or loose stretchy pants and a big shirt. I know my husband would like to see me dress up more sometimes and he goes with me to look at stuff but I leave the stores with a bit of anxiety. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of clothes I see and love... I just don't love how they look on me. For my height I have big boobs, short torso and wide hips. Most tops end up looking slutty on me or making me look like a shapeless potato.
