Need honesty

So my boyfriend and I have been in this long distance relationship going on 4 years, we spend more time apart than anything, so I asked him if he could help me get a job where he was, he said yeah! Now, I'm looking at jobs where he is and he's telling me leave those jobs alone. He's a transplant recipient, so maybe I thought wrong with getting a job where he was to help take care of him, but it's like he doesn't want me up there with him, yet tells me, he can't wait for us to move together and ect. I feel like an idiot now 😣😔😓💔...did I do something wrong
