Labor?
I started timing contractions at 6:30 this morning after being awake for an hour and being really uncomfortable. They were lasting 40 seconds to 1 min on average with a couple around 90 seconds. Then I ate breakfast and they spaced out some and I had an 18 break. Following that they were about 10-12 mins apart, same duration, for almost two hours before I had a break of 21 minutes. The timing of the next few were 7, 6, 6, 8, 9, 9 and now they're back to 12-15 mins apart. Is this normal? What's going on with the longer breaks? They happen pretty frequently and are painful unlike the Braxton Hicks I have had, so I felt like it was true labor. But they don't seem to be happening often enough or progressing much. Maybe I should mention too, I was at the doctor yesterday morning - 1cm and 80-90% effaced. He stripped my membranes.
