If you work, when did you tell your boss/coworkers you were expecting?

Also what about family, friends, Facebook, etc? I'm 6 weeks and have told my boyfriend and three best friends. Waiting until my mom is in town at 10 weeks so I can do it in person.

My boss is my best friend so she knew the day I found out which was about 4 weeks along as well as my boyfriend, his mom, and my mom. I didn't tell my co-workers until 12 weeks along with the rest of my friends and family.

I told around 10w because I work remotely and had appointments to schedule so I wanted him to know I wouldn't be at my desk those times. I've worked with him for ten years and knew it wasn't dangerous to my career to tell him early. But, I asked him to keep it under his hat

I told my superintendent around 6w July. I told everyone else when I was 11w4d ultrasound.

I told just my bosses when I was about 6 weeks, because I ended up being really sick and wanted to make sure they knew in case I needed to call off/take a rest/etc. it was very helpful that they knew, they were really understanding. Told the rest of my coworkers aroynd 12/13 weeks

I made the mistake of telling everyone earlier this year that I was pregnant. I ended up having a miscarriage with that baby. So this time around, I waited until I was well into my second trimester before saying anything to anyone. Especially at work.

I am waiting as long as possible to tell my boss and coworkers because of the way I was treated during my last pregnancy, which was ectopic and ended in surgery (and thus time off). I don't work along side my coworkers or boss very often (usually only 2-3 times a month) because of the nature of my job so it's been easier to hide. I am no longer able to hide my bump, so I have to tell them the next time We have a team meeting. I will be 17 weeks when I tell them.

I told both my bosses at 6 weeks as I needed to take time to go to appointments and told my coworkers at 13 almost 14 weeks. Even if I wanted to I don't think I could have hidden it much longer lol.
