senior bf growing distant

so i'm a freshman (turning 16 soon) and my boyfriend is a senior (just turned 18). we've been dating for a few weeks, but we've liked each other since November. during the first semester i went through a lot of friendship betrayal and drama that i did not ask for, which left me incapable of trusting people, insecure, paranoid, depressed, and honestly just scared. i tell him about it but he just doesn't seem to care. he'll just say "oh i'm sorry you feel that way" or "sorry" or "i'm here for you" and i know he's busy but still it feels like he doesn't care! he never compliments me he does very rarely. he says he loves me and i love him so much but i just don't know what to do because his actions don't line up with his words. please give me some advice i just don't know what to do!
