Update on preemie Samuel Michael Dell

My little guy came early at 33w3d on Wednesday January 18th. I figured I'd post an update. I had no idea what to expect as he was life flighted to a NICU 2 hours from where we live but he amazes me every day. He is completely off oxygen and breathing entirely on his own. He has a feeding tube but still knows to nurse and is so wonderful at it. He's sticking at his birth weight of 3lbs 15oz. They are even getting ready to get rid of his IV today. I have no idea when we will get to go home but I don't think they'll make him stick around too long.  Just know if your little ones come this early they can still thrive despite their tiny bodies. I'm one proud momma and just so overwhelmed by how much love I have for this little guy💕
