sterile water injections??

Question

Anyone heard or had sterile water injections for back labor? Just curious, one of the midwifes recommended it but I've never even heard of it? Not sure if I should try? I had a unmedicated birth with my first but this time around sciatic pain is so intense I want the epidural like now..lol so idk if this might be a good alternative plus I have the option of a water birth as well.

Webster certified chiropractor!!! Mine has adjusted women while they are in labor at the hospital for when labor stalls.

For sciatic pain I would 100% recommend a chiropractor and/or massage therapist (not the nice relaxing massages, the deep tissue ones) because they helped me with sciatic pain in my last pregnancy

I've heard of it from research, but don't know anyone who's done it. I did find a small study on it from New Delhi, and it was deemed safe and effective for relief of low back pain without side effects other than pain from the injection.  Depending on where exactly your sciatica is coming from though I'd be nervous that it wouldn't do much
