My baby boy is 3 weeks old and EBF and got a pretty bad rash yesterday. It's right on his anus and they look like raw skin from acidic poop. His poop comes out super frothy and he's got a lot of gas with it. We were using a diaper cream that had zinc oxide and chamomile in it but we switched to calendula ointment which is seeming to really help. And we were using a mix of cloth and disposables with regular and cloth wipes and now we're doing strictly cloth and the wipes are soaked in a baking soda and water mix. As of today I'm cutting out all dairy and coffee to see if that helps. Any suggestions or experiences with this would be much appreciated.
