hospital bag essentials?

When are you ladies packing your hospital bag and what are you putting in it? I've had my little girls packed for a month now but I just don't know what I need to bring for me other than toiletries, pajamas and going home clothes. I'm due March 16th

I'm a FTM but I've watched countless YouTube videos about what other moms packed. One thing that stuck was whatever clothes you will wear home, make them loose! Lots of trauma happens down there so you may not want tight pants rubbing around. I found some super comfy loose pants at Ross that I'm taking.

Lotion and chopstick. Your lips will get super dry. I also packed a massage roller ball to make muscle rubs easier. I packed pads because the ones you get at the hospital usually aren't as nice as what you can buy.

I bought cheap flip flops from Old Navy to wear around the hospital and to shower in.  Nursing bra... black clothes to hide any staining.  Toiletries. Chapstick.  Camera and charger.  2 of my own pillows with teal pillowcases so they don't get confused with hospital pillows.  Nipple pads.  Wipes to freshen up with.  I bought grannie panties to use instead of the mesh to hold the pads on better.   I may be over packed but I would rather be over than under.  I just read a bunch of people's lists and picked out what sounded best to me.  😊

Comfy clothes, toiletries, cardigans and tanks (for nursing and privacy) phone charger! Slippers or slipper socks are nice, hospitals are always cold lol
