Thanks for all of the advice! I have my next OB appointment regularly scheduled but with a Midwife for a change. I've also set up several tours and meeting with local hospitals and doctors. We are thinking a birthing center or even just a natural birth with a Midwife in hospital if anywhere local offers such accommodations! We are hoping to find someone great that we can connect with!

I use a mid wife! She's amazing! My fiancé wants to deliver the baby and she's all for it! When I found out I was pregnant that day (I found out at night) I fell off my horse and she gave me a doc appointment the next day!

My son was born in a hospital naturally but his sibling is coming at home. Our midwife is incredible and I wouldn't change my mind or heart for a minute about it!! I'd love to chat if you want, I don't have premium either 😊

Definitely call your insurance up and see what's covered. I also suggest looking into hospitals in your area first and then finding doctors who deliver there. That's how I found my doctor. I'd like to have a water birth and there was only one hospital in the area who could accommodate to that.

I had a horrible experience with my OBGYN during my last pregnancy. The pregnany ultimately resulted in a MMC and my problems with her were magnified when things got tough. This time we are seeing a midwife for our appointments and it's night and day. Our midwife gives us individual attention, reads our records, and is patient. She even gives us time to watch the ultrasound and hear the heartbeat. We are so happy! I don't know what we will do as far as giving yet.  If you don't like your doctor, I highly suggest giving a midwife a chance!!!

Omg if you hate your doctors then for the sake of you and your baby...find another one! I hate that you would put up with that :( this is an important time in your life! You have every right and deserve to be comfortable!
