MaterniT21 gender results - was it ever wrong for you?

I know the test is highly accurate but I was just wondering if anyone received incorrect results.  I got the blood work drawn at exactly 10 weeks. It shows I am having a boy. Is there anyway it could be picking up DNA from my MC on 9/1/16? I was convinced it was a girl!

It's super-accurate, but my best friend did get the wrong gender at first due to human error ( nurse called w/ someone else's results)!

Very unlikely to be wrong, especially with the detection of the Y chromosome. It's not 100% so yes, a small amount of people will get incorrect results (factor in human error like mixing up samples at the lab, etc). I'd trust the results though as they are far more accurate than an ultrasound!

I had one between 13-14 weeks and it was correct...boy  👦

Its a boy...my cousin had that will all 3 of her children and they were all correct
