painful intercourse ?

So, i'm 17 and I've had sex twice, both times accompanied with pain. Is this a normal occurrence for people who haven't had sex very much before ? I highly doubt it's an STD, I've only been with one person amd both times it's been with a condom. I also don't think not having enough lubrication was an issue either, I didn't feel pain on the outside, just the inside. sorry for the TMI !!
