nexplanon opinions

Hello- I have been on regular birth control (the pill).. I tried 4 different kinds and they all messed with my mental state. I already suffer from hormonal imbalance because I am hypothyroid. I would like to be on some kind of birth control though. And I have endometriosis as well and I suffer daily from cramps (even not on my period). I have read that nexplanon is horrible and some people get it removed within the first 6 months and gain weight and have horrible sex lives... I work out and eat healthy, I don't intend to change that either. Does anyone have an experience with nexplanon that was positive that they can share?
