1st U/S Question? 10+1 Weeks

Question

Hi ladies! FTM & my first doctors appointment is on Monday morning. I will be 10 weeks 1 day. Should I expect a transvaginal ultrasound or will they be able to do abdominal at that point?

Just curious, no big deal either way! Just excited to actually see my doctor finally! 🤣

By then they will probably do abdominal first, and If they cant see anything, they will switch. But they shouldn't have any issue

I was 10 weeks 4 day (baby measured exactly on time). She tried abdominal at first but couldn't get a clear enough look so she switched to transvaginal and I could see the baby much better!

I was also 10 weeks and my doctor went straight for transvaginal. It was the clearest ultrasound we've had so far.
