Baby Shower for baby #2?

My son will be 3 by the time our new baby arrives. Our family is dominated by boys, so all of our boy clothes, newborn items, etc were passed down. The most recent baby who was born is a year old now, but they didn't keep anything to pass down (they donated to goodwill) so we aren't expecting very many hand me downs. We have all big ticket items, so we're only really hoping to restock on baby clothes, diapers and a few baby necessities (the most expensive thing I have on my registry is $30 and it's a diaper bag). Is having a second shower tacky?
