positive induction stories??

Question

I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm asking to be induced between 39-40 weeks for personal reasons. Fingers crossed he says yes! Any positive induction stories out there??

I was induced and it was the best experience! Was in labor for 5 1/2 hours and pushed for 7 min. Had zero pain.. seriously zero. I did have an epidural bc my doc suggested it. Everyone is different. Try not to stress mama!! Your body takes over

I was not comfortable at all with my little guy the end of my pregnancy. Constant Braxton hicks and he kicked way harder than my first two. I was induced the day after my due date. I wasn't waiting it out. A good nurse slowly turns up the pit drip. I ended up on highest does full on contractions and was barely dialating. I think I moved a half a cm over hours. My doula said I might want to start considering an epidural because it had already been 8 hours or so and by this point contractions were minutes apart and HARD. I said no I'm not ready to think about that yet. minutes later I screamed it's time! baby is coming! I just suddenly went to 10. Aside from the cord around his neck hanging him up (they snipped it) he was out after a few good pushes. I was told inducing and no pain meds was almost impossible. It really was the same as going in labor naturally. You're just at it longer waiting for your contractions to start, pick up, get closer together. Very doable. Nothing to 
fear. That was 5 months ago and I plan to do it again with this one if needed.
