Need some help with my boyfriends mom

Hey Guys, so my boyfriend and I have been dating going on to 3 years now. I really like his dad but his mom rubs me the wrong way. She isn't openly disrespectful, but I always get the sense she doesn't appreciate the fact I picked doing teaching as my major in college. Every time she sees me she asks me, What are you studying in college?" EVERY.TIME! Then she goes on to say well that's just for now right? And she comes off disgenuine. I don't want to be rude, what should I do?
