Is it just my imagination or are a lot of mainstream media outlets dropping the moniker "pro-life" in favor of "anti-abortion"? I feel like I've seen it everywhere recently but maybe it's my imagination. Has anyone else picked up on this?

NOTE: This is not a thread to discuss feelings about abortion so please don't take it there.

You are not crazy. The prolife movement has evolved to anti abortion bc the level of hypocrisy it faced. How can you be prolife if you don't support the services that prevent pregnancy? Or the services that provide support to families in need who choose life instead of abortion? Or not supporting immigration and helping refugees? The prolife movement also had to face the pro choice movement qualifiying that just bc you are pro choice doesn't mean you support abortion. It can simply mean you believe it's a woman's choice not your own. And you prefer safe abortions.

I haven't noticed. I live near DC so when the news was reporting about the March for life, they constantly referred to the marchers as prolife. But I don't feel like anti abortion would be wrong to describe the prolife movement, since they are anti abortion.
