Puppies yelling and whining vs baby screaming n crying

My hubby and me are constantly at ends with each other over which is worse to listen to for a long time. Our puppy has an issue with waking us up in the middle of the night with this awful barking whining I'm gunna die barking fit for no reason and it drives me up the wall but he keeps saying it's the same as a baby crying and I'm getting pretty annoyed cuz to me a baby crying is so much easier to deal with then a dog and he thinks they are the same. So debate is which is harder to listen to annoyance wise
