Do you think child murder's should be sterilized? *trigger*

I was just reading about a "mother" allowing her husband a war veteran and purple heart award winner beat their 11 year old daughter to death and did nothing to help. She even received txts from him saying that he hurt her and how she was having seizures and coughing up blood, The autopsy shows she had month's and month's of injuries resulting in her death; including bruises, broken ribes, cracked skull and broken bones. She is now pregnant with their second child and will give birth behind bars; CPS will likely take the baby!

I feel anyone that abuses/muders a child should be sterilized so they can't reproduce.

What do you feel would be necessary?
