Is it still possible to get your period at 13 weeks? I'm having horrific cramps and spotting but I read that it's very rare to miscarry this late but it still worries me

The cramps are a worrisome symptom. Spotting by itself is usually not a sign of miscarriage (though could be a sign of something wrong like a hemorrhage or placental previa. I've had both. Blood galore but healthy baby). But paired with cramps it is not a good sign. You need to be seen right away. Try to avoid the ER if at all possible. My doctor's office has a service where if you call after hours, you get connected with the nurse or midwife on call. They phone ahead to the hospital and get you into OB triage where the doctors and nurses actually know how to treat pregnant women.

I hope your hospital has an OB triage or something of the sort.

But you're right, the chances of miscarriage this late are really low.
