working in childcare while pregnant?

I am 22 weeks pregnant and work at a daycare in the one year old room up to twos, I have to lift them up on the changing table multiple times a day. It doesn't feel like it's straining my body or anything but I know a couple of them weight at least 35 pounds. Is it bad for me? Or will I be fine?

I worked in childcare with my first and I still work in childcare with my second, I have a bad back to lifting and bending is already hard. But I talked to my director about just putting the changing mat on the floor so I didn't have to repeatedly lift them up and down and I can still contribute to my room

I did that while pregnant also. Our changing tables had slide out stairs though. Can you put a stepstool next to the table so you don't have to lift them all the way up off the floor?

Mom's pregnant with their second are often lifting their first.  I imagine you'll be just fine, but if you feel pain go see the doctor and they can wrote a note to have your duties modified.

It's really up to you. I'm a paediatric nurse and I just politely refused to lift/roll/move heavy patients and asked another nurse to take my place. It's only for a short time and I just didn't wanna risk anything .. do you think ur colleagues would do that for you?
