mom is driving me nuts!
I'm 30 years old and my mom is trying to pick out the dress I'm going to wear to the shower she's throwing me. Apparently she has a "vision" and wants things to "match."
She also informed me that she could call around asking for a good pediatrician since "it's really important" and that I need to make sure the baby has health insurance. (Mind you, I have never not had insurance so I don't know where this is coming from? Does she really have this little faith in me?)
She also has given me a list of names she likes and plans to call the baby a name she likes if she doesn't like the one we pick.
She wanted to be in the delivery room but thankfully I shut that down real quick.
Is anyone else's mom trying to take over their pregnancy? I understand her being excited and I would understand if I wasn't on top of things but I'm pretty organized. I just feel like she got to do all this and make her decisions when it was her turn and now it's my time. Anyone else struggling with their mom?
