Gender reveal party at 14 weeks??

So we just found out our baby's gender at 10 weeks through the Sneak Peak blood test and we are dying to tell our friends and family! Would it be bad to have a party at 14 weeks before our OBGYN confirms through an ultrasound what the gender is? The test is supposedly 99% accurate but would it be unwise to not confirm it with an ultrasound first?

I say go ahead. You don't get gendered stuff at a reveal anyway so I just wouldn't buy anything until you confirm it

I think your fine. Blood tests are way more accurate than ultrasounds anyways. We found out at 12 & 13 with my first and second pregnancies and we were told it's 99.99% accurate.
