I need some advice

Hello everyone. I'm wondering how early I can take a pregnancy test and have it be positive? I had irregular periods from highschool until out of college where they regulated for a couple years. My husband and I had a miscarriage last year and now my period has become irregular once again. It's supposed to be the first of every month but these last two months it's gotten out of wack again. The app says my period is supposed to start on the 10th. I took a test yesterday  (2/3) just for funsies and it was negative.

When can I take one before the date of my period and get accurate results, if that makes sense?
