What was your reaction when you found out the gender of your child!!?

Whether it was before birth or after...what was your reaction!????

I smashed cake into my sister's face, right in the eye. My husband didn't want to know the gender, and didn't want anyone else to know except me, but I didn't want to find out alone and knew I needed help designing the nursery so we agreed I'd have a little gender reveal with just my sis. I actually met a girl on Glow who was my due date buddy, and we've talked almost daily since we "met." I gave her the password to my panorama results, and she called a local bakery for me to have a cake made. It was fun and I got it all on video.

We were both hoping for another but honestly we knew deep down we were having a girl. We had our baby girls name picked out even before we knew . I cheered a little because I'm a first born girl and I grew up to be pretty decent I believe lol my mom raised us on her own she always said I was the best co pilot she could ever ask for so I'm praying my baby girl is the same for me 😊

I can honestly say I've always been genuinely happy after finding out the sex of all my kids. But logically, I knew it didn't make sense to get obsessed with one sex over the other, so there were no problems.

Elated. I loved the anticipation of not knowing the sex until delivery. My gut told me boy my entire pregnancy, I felt like I just knew it. Of course, I would have adored and doted on my baby even if they were green with purple stripes...but I guess I didn't realize just how much I longed for a daughter until they said "it's a girl"

I found out when he was born. I'd expected a girl, but after 42 hours of labor, I was just glad he was out.

Complete shock! My oldest is a boy and I knew from the moment I was pregnant! I never ever imagined a girl, when they told me girl for this baby I was in complete shock! This is the first girl on DH's side in like 25 years! And they are sisters born two years apart she was the first in 23 years! So in over 50 years they've had 2 girls!! I'm super excited, but I was very unprepared for a girl
